US FDA toxicity data updated

The toxicity data from the United States Food and Drug Administration, provided in IUCLID format in January 2023 has been updated. It now includes an additional 180 substances, making 528 in total.

The data contain non-clinical animal, and clinical human data. The animal data are based on test results extracted from pharmacological reviews, including studies of types: carcinogenicity, repeat-dose, developmental and reproductive toxicity. The human data are derived from structured product labels. The database is ontologised, meaning it has been standardised with respect to the terminology used. The ontology is included in the download.

The information can contribute, among other purposes, to the development of predictive computational testing models.
